With the AVM Fritz! WiFi Stick AC 860 you can use lightning-fast and secure connections to your FRITZ!Box or another router. The USB 3.1 WiFi stick supports the latest wireless technology and thus significantly increases the transmission speed and range. With the latest WiFi 802.11 ac standard, you can use data transmissions with up to 867 MBit/s in the 5 GHz band. Of course, the proven, widespread WiFi 802.11 b/g/n standards and their encryptions are still available. If you use this WiFi stick together with a FRITZ!Box, you can conveniently make all settings using AVM Stick & Surf technology. All you have to do is insert the stick briefly into the USB port of your FRITZ!Box and then into your PC. The correct WLAN settings are automatically applied and can be used immediately. For use with other routers, you can also conveniently fall back on the WPS function (WiFi Protected Setup), which automatically establishes a WPA2-encrypted connection.
