Asus ROG Rapture GT-AC2900

The ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AC2900 Gaming Router enables fast WiFi 5 connections in the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency range as well as wired network connections via four Gigabit LAN and one WAN port.
The ASUS ROG ("Republic of Gamers") router is optimised for online gaming and features three-stage gaming acceleration to boost gaming traffic every step of the way – from the device to the game server. With the dedicated ROG Gaming Interface, each connected device can be prioritised to stay at the forefront of data traffic at all times. Gaming Boost is an adaptive Quality of Service feature that prioritises gaming traffic for fast, stable connections. With the integrated Gamers Private Network (GPN) powered by wtfast, the ROG GT-AC2900 ensures that the shortest possible connection between the home network and the game server is always selected to enable minimal ping and extremely low latency.
The dual band function allows you to choose between the much-used 2.4 GHz and the faster 5 GHz frequency range. Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) unlocks up to 15 of the least busy channels in the 5GH range to provide even more bandwidth for gaming applications. With its high-performance antennas, the ROG GT-AC2900 delivers a strong Wi-Fi signal that easily penetrates walls to ensure smooth and stable online gaming performance anywhere in the home.
The router has advanced setting options that make it easy to manage children's internet use – for example, restricting internet access during set times and blocking certain mobile apps and websites. With flexible control features, separate rules can be created for individual family members and applied to all their devices. With the exclusive ASUS AURA lighting, the GT-AC2900 shines in customisable colours and provides a variety of effects for a unique look that perfectly matches an existing gaming system. The lighting can even be configured to show the status of the network.
