The CSL PAC-867 is a WiFi card for the PCIe interface that supports the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/h standards and can operate in both the 5 GHz and the conventional 2.4 GHz frequency range. The advantage of this DualBand solution is the possibility to set up one's wireless network in the less used 5 GHz frequency band and thus achieve a more stable, faster connection than in the 2.4 GHz range. The 802.11ac standard used for this can achieve transmission speeds of up to 867 MBit/s here. This ensures reliable connections for bandwidth-intensive applications such as high-resolution video streams and online games. The external antenna unit can be aligned according to the premises to achieve optimum signal reception. In addition, the WiFi adapter also supports Intel® Wireless Display Technology, which can be used to stream broadcasts to compatible receivers such as TVs, beamers or monitors.
