With this mainboard/CPU bundle you get a strong foundation for a self-designed PC or as an upgrade for an existing system.
The AMD Ryzen™ 5 4500 is a six-core processor based on the "Zen2" microarchitecture and operates with fast boost clocking up to 4100 MHz. Via SMT, the CPU cores are virtually doubled so that 12 parallel threads can be executed. The AMD Ryzen™ 5 4500 thus not only offers a powerful basis for gaming, but can also unfold its full potential especially in multi-core-based applications - e.g. in rendering videos and 3D models or in audio editing with many plug-ins.
The ASUS PRIME A520M-A II/CSM mATX mainboard provides all important interfaces for connecting additional system components and device peripherals.

Note: To build a functional system with this CPU/mainboard bundle, you need a dedicated graphics card.
